Nigh Thee: The Word of Faith Over the Works of the Law

The law was never meant to save you. It was meant to point you to Jesus. Moses gave Israel a path to life with God, but true righteousness has always been about faith, not performance. Romans 10:5-8 makes that clear.

So many of us are still trying to earn what God has already freely given. We chase gold stars, keep score, and fall apart the moment things do not go our way. That is religion. God wants your heart, not your resume.

And when conflict comes, Jesus gave us a clear path in Matthew 18:15-18. Go to your brother. Seek reconciliation. Forgive as you have been forgiven. Not because it earns you anything, but because you already have everything in Christ.
