Faith in the Promise Maker, Not Just the Promise
Where is your faith placed? In promises or in the Promise-Keeper Himself?
This Sunday we wrapped up Romans 4 with a powerful truth: Abraham's faith wasn't in circumcision, works, or even God's promises—it was in GOD HIMSELF. At 100 years old, facing impossible circumstances, Abraham believed the Lord could do what He said He would do.
Today, we face our own impossibilities. Sickness. Persecution. Failure. Mountains that look immovable. But here's the truth from Isaiah 53: Jesus was already wounded for YOUR transgressions, beaten for YOUR iniquities. By HIS stripes, you are healed. Stop looking at your circumstances and look at JESUS.
Death has no sting for believers. The grave has no victory. Your faith must be anchored in Christ alone—not in outcomes, not in what makes sense, but in WHO He is. Get your eyes off yourself and onto the King. He is faithful, and He will never forsake you.
