Instruments of Righteousness: The Choice Before Us

Sin is always a choice—never an accident. This week we dove deep into Romans 6:13 and discovered a powerful truth: we decide whether to present our bodies as instruments of righteousness or unrighteousness.

Satan may be called "the tempter," but he can't make you sin. He broadcasts temptations like a radio signal, designed to entice the evil desires already within our flesh. But here's the good news: you have the armor of God. You can take every thought captive. You can choose to present yourself to God instead.

Where you go matters. Who you surround yourself with matters. Your thoughts matter. When you willfully present your members as instruments of righteousness, the Holy Spirit produces His fruit in you—love, joy, peace, patience, and self-control. Ask yourself today: what fruit am I producing? Better yet, ask God to show you. Then deal with what He reveals.
